The Church of Christian Perspective is founded on the belief that you don’t have to go to church every Sunday to go to Heaven or to be a good Christian. Worship is in the heart not the brick and mortar building.

I am Rev. Paul R. Lester, II. I grew up in the coal fields of Southwestern Virginia, and my family and I now live in Greene County, Virginia.  My wife, Tonia, is a teacher's aide for Greene County Schools, and I am a full-time Greene County Deputy Sheriff. We have two children, Thomas and Katie.

I was ordained by St. Luke Evangelical Christian Ministries in 2006. We believe that all you need to do is to trust in the word of God and live in the way of Jesus Christ our Lord.

If you read the New Testament of the Christian Bible, no where does it say you have to go to a church building to pray or to praise God.

Jesus taught the Word of God, not only in church, but also in homes, in the market place, and on the street. I’m sure that if the Internet had been around — you would have found him preaching here, too.

A church is not only a pastor, but also in its congregation, whether one or two or many people. With your help I hope to see this church grow.

Please let us hear from you.

God Bless.
